Leading online lighting merchant LAMPS PLUS announces
it has partnered with the Casablanca Fan Company
in an online sweepstakes to promote Casablanca
ceiling fans.
The “Casablanca Online Ceiling Fans Sweepstakes”
allows visitors to the LAMPS PLUS site (www.LAMPSPLUS.com)
to enter their name for a daily drawing of a Casablanca
Legacy ceiling fan. The sweepstakes runs from
August 10th to September 30th, for a total of
52 fans over the length of the entire sweepstakes.
Users enter once for a chance to win on any of
the sweepstakes day drawings. A “tell-a-friend”
component of the program allows users to e-mail
family and friends about the program.
“Casablanca is very excited about participating
in this new online venture with LAMPS PLUS,”
says Kevin Grimes, marketing services manager
for Casablanca Fan Company. “We think the
ceiling fans sweepstakes will help spread the
word about Casablanca products and generate interest
in our brand and extensive ceiling fan product
line.”
The online ceiling fans sweepstakes will be promoted
through banner advertising campaign on leading
home decorating and design websites, as well as
on LAMPS PLUS affiliate sites and various online
sweepstakes and contest listing sites. The ceiling
fans sweepstakes promotional banners are expected
to have an estimated 7 million unique impressions
over the life of the program.
“Our experience with other online sweepstakes
has been that it really fuels user interest and
product sales,” says LAMPS PLUS President
Dennis Swanson. “Consumers really respond
to a sweepstakes, and the online promotions have
a way of spreading among internet users that really
expands the scope of the promotion.”
